CEO & Founder of AKWB Entertainment
Alleni Wicker-Balding is the heart behind AKWB Entertainment—a coaching and development company built on experience, empathy, and excellence. With more than 17 years in the world of theater and live performance, Alleni has worn many hats in the entertainment industry: cast member, director, performer, event singer, and even music director in a volunteer capacity. She understands the work it takes to grow as an artist—on stage and behind the scenes—and brings that insight into every session and interaction.
AKWB Entertainment was born from that journey. What began as personal coaching and support for young performers has grown into a mother agency that helps talent prepare for real opportunities—without shortcuts or false promises. Alleni created AKWB to guide others through the process with honesty, structure, and individualized attention, helping them rise with purpose and professionalism.
As a two-time national award-winning alum of The ARTS, Alleni earned top honors in singing and secured multiple scholarships to performing arts programs in New York City. Her own experience taught her what it takes to stand out—and just as importantly, what it takes to stay grounded. That foundation has shaped her as a mentor and leader, giving her a reputation for follow-through, discernment, and never overpromising.
From vocal performance and acting technique to modeling and movement, AKWB Entertainment provides hands-on training rooted in accountability, confidence, and real-world preparation. While some artists may later pursue opportunities like The ARTS, selection is never guaranteed—it's earned through commitment, growth, and readiness.
Alleni now resides in eastern Virginia with her military spouse and continues to balance a grounded family life with a clear passion for mentoring the next generation. Her approach remains centered on faith, follow-through, and the belief that success begins with courage.
